SIP or Session Initiation Protocol is a generic standard that allows for compatibility with other SIP base products, offering flexibility and options to create a solution that caters your needs. SIP is the use of voice over IP (VOIP) it facilitates the connection to PBX to the internet. SIP can interact with many of the SIP based phone products on the market today such as Snom, Polycom, Wireless SIP phones and more.

SIP UDP:
SIP UDP (User Datagram Protocol) is a communications protocol that offers a limited amount of service when messages are exchanged between computers in a network that uses the IP. SIP UDP uses the Internet Protocol to actually get a data from one computer to another.
Content: eg "SIP UDP is not a seesion if a user sends a packet to the end user the user does not acknowleges the packet."
SIP TCP:
SIP TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) sends data in units between computers over the Internet. While IP takes care of handling the actual delivery of the data, SIP TCP takes care of keeping track of the individual units of data (called packets).
Contents: eg "SIP TCP is a seesion it acknowldges that the packets sent by user was sent back with a confirmation."
SIP TLS:
SIP TLS (Transport Layer Security) is a protocol that ensures privacy between communicating with PBX and their users on the Internet. When a server and client communicate, SIP TLS ensures that no third party may eavesdrop or tamper with any message. TLS is the successor to the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
Content: eg "By default SIP TLS is set to 5061."
SIP Replacement list:
SIP Replacement is Routing list, it allows you to deploy Pbxnsip at a network edge to another network. SIP-RL also allows users to log to pbxnsip from between a company's private network and the outside public network. Pbxnsip can prevents outside users from getting direct access.
IP Routing List
This field sort of overrides the operating system routing list. Whenever the PBX sends the SIP request, it uses the IP address(please use the proper syntax from http://www.pbxnsipsupport.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=437 ) provided in this field instead of using the address obtained using OS functions. The common fields that make use of this setting are Via, Contact, SDP etc.
