How to turn off Dialtone during hold on your Snom Phone.

Question:

After putting a call on hold - 5 seconds later dial tone comes over the speaker phone on my Snom 320 and 370. 

Answer

There is a setting on the snom phone under Advanced->Audio tab. The field name is “Dialtone during Hold:”. This feature has to be turn off.
