Caller ID on CS410

Generally, CS410 with default installation, is capable of detecting the caller id from the PSTN.. But there are cases where the caller id detection may not work as expected using default settings. The major reason is the gain on  the line. This can happen since the CS410 lets you work with various PSTN providers in various countries. In such cases you need to use the "Input gain" parameter on the "Admin->PSTN Gateway" page. You can increase or decrease the gain to verify the caller id detection happens properly.

Note: First make sure the caller id is supported by your provider and they really are sending the caller id on the line. You can verify this using any "caller-id" supported handset.
